Professional Summary Description: Having studied Law, Economics and Political Science in Erfurt, Columbia and at the Johns Hopkins University I have finished my studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the University of Vienna in 2005. During my studies I have been student representative and Vice-president of the Senate of the University of Erfurt and member of several boards within the University. Serving as a Lecturer at the Universitas Pelita Harapan from 2005 until the end of 2006 I could use my experiences to work on the QA System of the Faculty. Since 2008 I am responsible for the higher education policy of the confederation of employerâ??s federations in Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as for the whole Metal and Electrical Industry (SUEDWESTMETALL). Suedwestmetall - The Baden-Wuerttemberg Employersâ?? Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry â?? is one of Germanyâ??s largest employer federations. It represents the tariff and socio-political interests of more than a thousand member organisations with around 500,000 employees in large, medium sized and small businesses. rnrnI represent the Employers Association(s) in several boards in politics and Universities on a regional and national level.rnI am also member of the Accreditation Commission of EVALAG. EVALAG supports as a centre of competence for quality assurance and enhancement, higher education institutions and other scientific institutions with their commitment for good quality in teaching and learning, research and services. rnI have been reviewer during the Quality Audit at the University of Freiburg and work on the issue of Quality Assurance with the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). I am also responsible for a panel with high ranked representatives of member companies concerning the Quality Assurance of the DHBW. The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University with its main seat in Stuttgart is the first university in Germany to integrate academic studies and work experience. Like the other universities, it is a legal entity of public law and simultaneously a state institution. Its trademarks will be the structural characteristics of the University of Cooperative Education, in particular, the participation of training companies and institutions and the dual learning principle of studies. With around 25.000 undergraduates, more than 8.000 partner firms and more than 100.000 former students the DHBW counts as one of the largest universities of the state.rnMoreover I coordinate a high ranked Suedwestmetall-working committee of Rectors and Presidents of Universities and representatives of member companies (CEOs, CTOs, HR Directors) who discuss and decide about joint statements.
