Professional Summary Description: Technical Interests - Generally centered on computer systems. Areas of particular interest and experience include computer architecture, fault-tolerant systems, logic and system simulations, communication systems, and distributed computer systems.
University Administrative Responsibilities - As a university president for over 10 years, I served as the chief executive official responsible for all activities in planning, academic administration, general administration, and institutional relations.
University Assessment/Evaluation/Accreditation - For the past 12 years, I have been involved with formal internal reviews and external evaluation at universities in Taiwan. I have acted as academic departmental reviewer, institutional level reviewer, and leader of review groups. I have also served on the performance review board at the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA). Currently, I am in charge of a team with over 300 reviewers for the 2014-2015 national-level evaluation of technological universities sponsored by the Taiwan Ministry of Education.
