Criteria Requirements for Institutional Member
Institutional Member Criteria:
Measure: Institutional Members are institutions of higher education in the region that are in good standing with the relevant quality assurance agency if one exists.
Measure: Institutional Members are institutions of higher education in the region that are in good standing with the relevant quality assurance agency if one exists.
Proof of recognition as a Higher Education Institution: The recognition authority in Bangladesh is the Education Ministry and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Please find attached the permission granted to the university by the authorized body.
Being relatively new, APQN membership would benefit the university in the following ways:
1. it would be able to improve its quality assurance activities by learning best practices of and receiving advise from APQN members.
2. it would facilitate better the mobility of its students to other institutions within the region and vice versa by applying international standards and recognizing international qualifications.
3. it would be able to network with QA agencies which it can consult for information, advise and expertise.
Being relatively new, APQN membership would benefit the university in the following ways:
1. it would be able to improve its quality assurance activities by learning best practices of and receiving advise from APQN members.

Proof of the organisation’s good standing with the local QA agency: The following documents prove the university's good standing with the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. These are as follows and are mostly written in Bangla: 1. Approval of University Statutes 2. Permission to use Campus A Building 3. Permission to use Campus B Builing 4. Approval of Business Administration and Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate programs 5. Approval of Media Studies and Journalism undergraduate program 6. Approval of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering undergraduate program 7. Approval of English and Humanities undergraduate program 8. Approval of General Education Program 9. Approval of MBA (Regular) Program 10. Approval of MBA (Executive) Program 11. Approval of Masters in Social Science in Media Studies and Journalism Program I will attach these documents in a separate email.
