Description: LAMEMBA is an independent accreditation body that is entrusted with the authority by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to undertake the accreditation process for Study Programs majoring in Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (EMBA) in Indonesia.
According to:
1. Regulation of The Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Number 5 Of 2020 On the Accreditation for Study Program and Higher Education. Article 4 Section 1 concerning 'Accreditation for Study Program run by LAM (Independent Accreditation Body)’.
2. Regulation of The Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. Number. AHU-0011772.AH.01.07 Of 2020 On the Ratification of the Establishment of the Legal Body of Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Ekonomi, Manajemen, Bisnis dan Akuntansi.
3. Regulation of Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN)-Perguruan Tinggi (PT) Number 9 Of 2020
On the Diversion Policy of the Accreditation for Study Program from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education to the Independent Accreditation Body
It was initiated by Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia (ISEI), the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI), and the Association of Indonesian Faculty of Economics and Business (AFEBI). Since 2022, the function of BAN-PT in the accreditation process for the EMBA field (with a total of around 4000 study programs) has been transferred to us. Therefore, at the beginning of 2022, LAMEMBA has officially begun to receive applications from many study programs under the supervision of BAN-PT.
According to:

Our mission is to develop the capacity and competitiveness of study programs, implement the new paradigm of the accreditation assessment process, and increase the relevance and contribution in the academic atmosphere both at a national and international level. In line with our vision is to become the best accreditation institution for a study program in the fields of Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (EMBA), which is nationally and internationally recognized, we intend to pursue more insight through collaboration with international accreditation institutions and join the membership of an international network.

Description:
To be able to carry out its duties and authority in accrediting EMBA study programs for all levels of education, LAMEMBA needs to have a number of colleagues who are ready to be assigned as assessors. This regulation regarding guidelines for managing a number of assessors, which consist of requirements, recruitment and selection of prospective assessors, the administration, assignment, performance evaluation, training and development, code of ethics, and dismissal process of assessors. Therefore, the guideline is addressed for any parties with an interest in the accreditation process carried out by LAMEMBA.
To be able to carry out its duties and authority in accrediting EMBA study programs for all levels of education, LAMEMBA needs to have a number of colleagues who are ready to be assigned as assessors. This regulation regarding guidelines for managing a number of assessors, which consist of requirements, recruitment and selection of prospective assessors, the administration, assignment, performance evaluation, training and development, code of ethics, and dismissal process of assessors. Therefore, the guideline is addressed for any parties with an interest in the accreditation process carried out by LAMEMBA.

The Accreditation Committee then validates the assessment result of this desk assessment to decide whether to proceed to the next stage. The next stage which is an on-site assessment conducted by two assessors who will then recommend whether it could be granted a Good, Very Good, or Excellent ranking. The Accreditation Committee then validates the result of this on-site assessment with two assessors. The final process involves the Executive Boards and the Accreditation Council will approve the final decision of accreditation ranking as Good, Very Good, or Excellent.

Description: LAMEMBA Assessment Process
Assessment is carried out based on a self-evaluation document or report, hereinafter referred to as DED, in which the Program Study Management Unit describes the results of its comprehensive self-evaluation related to the performance of the program study within the last three years in accordance with the LAMEMBA Instrument. In addition, the assessment also uses study program performance documents that show statistical data on several aspects of study program performance as required by the LAMEMBA Accreditation instrument, hereinafter referred to as DKPS.
The accreditation process starts with verifying the completion and suitability of the submitted documents (DED and DKPS). This stage is followed by a desk assessment of the documents undertaken by two peers or assessors. The Accreditation Committee then validates the assessment result of this desk assessment. The committee will decide whether to proceed to the next stage, which is an on-site assessment conducted by two assessors who will then recommend whether it could be granted a Good, Very Good, or Excellent ranking. The Accreditation Committee then validates the result of this on-site assessment. This final step will approve the final decision of accreditation ranking as Good, Very Good, or Excellent.
