About Me
Hello, my name is Anthony Tumiwa , I am here as a representative of the silat and wuxia culture fan community in Indonesia. My mission is to spread this culture worldwide before it declines further. Wuxia Indonesia voluntarily makes quality articles to be read by people around the world.
Silat is a traditional martial art that originated in Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. Silat has a long history and has been practiced for hundreds of years by various ethnic groups in Southeast Asia. Different styles and variations of Silat have developed over time, each with its own unique techniques and training methods. Silat is not only a martial art, but it is also a cultural practice that is often tied to traditional rituals and customs.
Wuxia is a genre of Chinese fiction that typically involves martial arts, chivalry, and adventure. The term "wuxia" (武侠) literally means "martial hero" in Chinese, and the genre is known for its depiction of highly skilled and chivalrous martial artists who often live by a strict code of honor. Wuxia stories are usually set in ancient China.
Other than promoting wuxia culture, Our main priority is helping children and homeless people on the street and in an isolated places. We have a dream to build a Wuxia museum, a place that shows some equipments and items related to our community.
I am also a wuxia blogger that posts any article related to chinese martial arts, chinese drama, books, novels, and films. Please visit my blog at https://www.cerita-silat.net for further information. Thank you.
