Measure: Institutional Members are institutions of higher education in the region that are in good standing with the relevant quality assurance agency if one exists.
Proof of recognition as a Higher Education Institution: Organization’s active interest in Quality Assurance:

Cambrian School & College (CAMBRIAN), the only ISO 9001:2000 certified has established in 2004. Managing quality processes become critically important for education institutions generally. So, from the very beginning, CAMBRIAN evaluations identified an important number of major issues which needed to be addressed through systematic quality assurance procedures. These issues covered Premises and Health and Safety, Management and Staff Resources, Learning and Teaching, Quality Assurance and Enhancement, Student Welfare, Awards and Qualifications, Marketing and Recruitment and Systems Management and Compliance with Immigration Regulations areas. Work in these areas is essential for the modernization of education of this institution.

CAMBRIAN, is today known to be one of the largest education groups in Bangladesh. Cambrian School and College is affiliated by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka and is an outstanding institution of Bangladesh as indicated by its number seven ranking in the external examinations. In the first public examination in 2007, it achieved an unprecedented success record. CAMBRIAN has 10 (ten) campuses to provide excellent education in the metropolitan area of the Dhaka City, where there are about 8,000 plus students and about 1,000 proficient teachers and staffs are working. CAMBRIAN has become a brand name for quality education in Bangladesh. Currently, the Cambrian School and College is providing residential accommodation for about 2,000 male and female students from pre-primary to 12-Grade (HSC), that is, ages 5 to 18. Classes are taught in English and Bangladeshi and cover the whole of the Bangladesh National Curriculum, which comprises the same subjects as the UK National Curriculum, including subjects typically studied at GCSE and A level. HSC pass rate is 100% from the beginning to present time and ranked are 2nd place in 2008, 3rd in 2009, 11th in 2010, 16th in 2011, 13th in 2012, 7th place in 2013, 10th place in 2014, in 2015, 1st place in 100% pass category and 4th place in GPA 5.00 category.

CAMBRIAN has also established Cambrian International Study Centre (CISC) with the aim of providing solutions to meet the global challenges and promises to reform the quality of higher education to train the students as global citizens. Cambrian International College of Aviation (CICA) is the first self-financing co-educational aviation college started in Dhaka in 2012. The College is approved by Edexcel, UK affiliated with the Bangladesh Flying Academy and General Aviation, Dhaka.

The Institution also has Metropolitan College, King’s College, Winsome College, Cambrian International Language Centre, Cambrian Teachers' Training Institute, International Scholarship Advisory Council, Cambrian Cultural Academy, Cambrian Sports Academy and the proposed educational TV channel, Cambrian Television (CTV).

The main objective of this institution is to see our country illiterate free within 2021 and make it “Digital Bangladesh” by providing quality education required for meeting the challenges to go ahead and to raise our heads in the midst of countries of the country .

CAMBRIAN provides the students with all modern amenities in teaching including separate practical lab, enriched library facilities, digital class room, laptop containing lecture plan, medical board, scout, BNCC, Fire Safety & Earth Quack Management Department, etc

A. Health and Safety: In this area, CAMBRIAN is maintaining below factors:
• As per the floor plan of each campus, have digital classrooms and other teaching facilities, library facilities, IT facilities, offices, toilets, student study areas, refreshment areas, residential areas, canteen, emergency exits.
• List of teaching rooms showing capacities and any specific teaching resources.
• Lease agreement or evidence of ownership (originals)
• Confirmation from the local authority that the college has permission to use the premises for educational purposes ( planning approval or equivalent).

• Health and safety declaration.
• Staff training records in relation to first aid, fire and emergencies, safety in areas of hazard.
• Qualified first-aiders and their certificates
• Records of testing of fire detection equipment, extinguishers, alarms and emergency lighting.
• Fire notices and emergency/fire exit signs.
• Records of timed fire drills including any hazards encountered and remedial action taken.
• Safety rules applicable to areas of hazard.

• Gas and electrical safety certificates provided by qualified contractors.

• Fire extinguishers correctly wall or floor mounted.
• List of fire marshals.





B. Management and Staff Resources: In this area, CAMBRIAN is maintaining below factors:

• Membership and documented role of the Governing Body
• Diagram of staffing structure with names (this includes management, teaching and support staff).
• Appropriate vision and mission statements.
• The numbers of staff and the staffing structure appropriate for the scale and nature of the Institution.
• Employer’s Liability Insurance Certificate (original on display)
• Public Liability insurance
• Equal opportunities policy relating to employment
• Written procedures for staff promotions, staff discipline and complaints/grievances.
• CVs of staff who manage courses and/or subject areas
