Institutional Member Criteria:
Measure: Institutional Members are institutions of higher education in the region that are in good standing with the relevant quality assurance agency if one exists.

Proof of recognition as a Higher Education Institution: Riphah International University is a federally chartered university, established in year 2002. It is running 11 faculties having 33 programs. The students strength is over 3000 and employee strength (All Categories) is 1500. The university is working under the guidance of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. HEC has established Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) with in itself w.e.f. year 2003. QAA has established Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs) in 80 selected universities of Pakistan. RIU is one of the 15 private sector â??Wâ? category universities where QEC has been established w.e.f. 2009.

Proof of the organisation’s good standing with the local QA agency: QEC of RIU is very keen to learn and implement good practices being exercised by sister organizations in the world.
