In 1978 - graduated from the historical and theoretical Department of the Surgut music
school (teachers: T I. Egorova, S. I. Khlebnikova. E. I. Gusakov), in 1984 ¡ª the historical
and theoretical faculty at the Ural Conservatory (teachers: N. A. Volpec Z. A. Wiesel, V. p.
Kostarev, L. A. Serebryakova).
In 1992- Improved at the posl- graduate school of the Moscow Conservatory under the
supervision of N. A. Simakova (graduated in 1992). At the same time, defended his PhD
thesis"" The problems of thematism in Renaissance music"" (Moscow Conservatory).
In 1984*1989 -worked at the Krasnoyarsk Institute of arts (courses in polyphony
harmonies, history of foreign musk of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque). Since
1991 ? has been teaching at the Department of music theory at the Moscow Conservatory
(polyphony course).
Since 1991- has been directing individual classes for students of the faculty of history and
theory In the special course of polyphony, since 1998 ¡ª associate Professor, since
2008-Professor. Since 1993- has been teaching a General course in polyphony at the
piano faculty, the faculty of historical and contemporary performing arts, for students of
the foreign Dean's office (for choral conductors, pianists, string players, and composers).
In 2001 2005- taught a special course on polyphony and musk-theoretical systems at the
State musical and pedagogical Institute named after him. M. M. Ippolitova-Ivanova.
My research interests are related to the musical culture of the late middle Ages and
Renaissance. The main research areas are the history and theory of musical genres and
forms, the history and theory of pdyphony, writing techniques, psychology of creativity, and the musical and theoretical legacy of the past (the study of ancient treatises).
Participates in conferences, theoretical seminars and master classes. Including
international ones. Author of programs on the course of polyphony for historical and
theoretical faculties of musk universities (2003), as well as history and philosophy of art
studies (2005), articles for the encyclopedia ""Ancient musk"".
In 2003-2005 - served on the Editorial Board of the State Musical and Pedagogical
Institute. M. M. Ippolitova-Ivanova. The author and scientific editor of the collection of
scientific works.
