Since joining UK NARIC in 2005, James has acquired considerable research and project management experience, having delivered a varied portfolio of projects, involving the review and comparative analysis of qualifications on a European and international level. Projects include institutional reviews, benchmarking exercises and consultancy for post-secondary and tertiary institutions in Shanghai, China, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. In the upper secondary sector, his portfolio has included major UK awarding bodies and awarding bodies in Armenia, South Africa and Hong Kong. Key areas of work are methodological development and review of quality assurance procedures.
