Tony Davies is currently Programme Manager for the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, currently working on tertiary education reforms across the whole sector. Tony has over 40 years experience in the education sector, working as teacher and principal in the school sector; as well as working in both the Ministry of Education and Specialist Education Services. Tony has worked in a variety of roles with the Qualifications Authority, which more recently has included responsibility for policy, research and liaison with agencies and countries/territories involved in international education. Tony has spoken at a number of international conferences and seminars and written papers on New Zealand Qualifications and New Zealand quality assurance systems.
