Professional Summary Description: Professor Ahmed Gamal El-Din MOUSSA Professor and Chair of Economics and public finance Department, Mansourah University occupied many leading academic, political, and economic posts. He was Minister of Education of Egypt (July2004- December 2005) and prior to that he was: President of Mansourah University (2003:2004); Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs (2001: 2003); Vice-Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Law, Mansourah University (1996: 2001); Chair of Economic and Public Finance Department (1995: 1996); Professor of Economics and Public Finance since 1995; Associate Professor, Assistant Prof., Lecturer Assistant, Demonstrator (1977: 1989); Member of Egyptian Conseil d'Etat (1973:1977). rnNow Professor MOUSSA is the President of Committee for Legal Studies Sector, Supreme Council for Universities (SCU), He also member of the Counsel of Private Universities in Egypt, and he is the Chair of the Committee supervising Professors Appointment, Egyptian Counsel for Private Universities. At the same time he is a member of the board of Egypt Post and Chair of the Board of Post for Systems (SAE).rnProfessor Moussa published hundreds of books, scientific and general articles, and for the high quality of his scientific work and academic achievement he obtained many academic rewards and honours: State Estimating Prize on Social Studies for the year 2007;Excellence Medal from the President of the Republic in 1996; State Prize on Environmental Studies for the year 1992; State Encouraging Prize on Economic and Financial Sciences for the year 1991; Mansourah University Prize on Social Sciences for the year 1988/1989.
