Associate Member Criteria:
Measure:Associate Members are organisations with a major interest and active involvement in evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance in higher education, but without the responsibility for assuring the quality of institutions, education programs, or external quality assurance agencies

The Papua New Guinea Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is responsible for regulation of the higher education sector in the country. This covers quality assurance, accreditation and compliance. The department through the National Higher and Technical Education Board is the body incharge to conduct reviews of programs and institutions.
