Introduction:

     In the era of digitalization and virtual community, the execution of higher education has been influenced by new technology and the internet. For example, more and more online courses are held by universities around the world, digital books are used and electronic documents are almost replacing the traditional paper documents. Also, more and more students are now receiving qualifications of micro-credential through completing such online courses. Thus, QA agencies, educators and QA stakeholders need to develop new QA strategies in responding to these changes in the higher education sector. This discussion hopes to stimulate more ideas for innovative QA processes in responding to this change in higher education. 

Key questions to reflect on the topic:

1) What are other technologies used in the higher education sector according to your experience?

2) Do you think online learning or distant learning efficient or helpful? How can we evaluate the outcome of distant learning? 

3) How can we assure the quality of distant learning? 

4) How can we efficiently involve more technologies in the higher education sector?
